"The Board of Directors of Oregon War Veterans Association has happily endorsed Vicki Walker for reelection to the Oregon State Senate. Vicki has been a consistent advocate for Oregon's Veterans, and has made herself available to every meeting requested by Oregon War Veterans Association members. In 2003, Senator Walker was instrumental in helping OWVA develop a bill that helps Disabled War Vets secure specific rights that were denied them, and has committed to help us further meet their needs. Senator Walker is a valued supporter of innovative legislation that helps veterans and their families secure needed benefits and programs, especially during the recent budget crunches. The Directors of OWVA strongly urge all district voters to keep Senator Vicki Walker as their dedicated advocate."
